Another fun-filled day today in Jamaica. We went to check out an adventure company called Chukka Adventures. They offer a whole bunch of activities like dogsled racing, ATV safaris and jungle buggies tours.

We started with zip lining, which was quite a different experience than yesterday. A 20 minute hike into the jungle, we came to the first zip line.
Nine in total, they were a little less intense but longer and even more engulfed in the jungle. Unfortunately, we were joining a very large group so there was lots of waiting around.
The guides were the most charming part, wearing t-shirts that said, “Me Tarzan” for the guys and “Me Jane” for the gals. The energy, fun and good nature of the Jamaicans continues to delight me.
And so it continued as we mounted horses and rode them into the Caribbean Sea. These guides were all young men eager to keep us energized and happy. And happy I was.
I could feel the powerful muscles of my horse pushing through the aqua blue water, with the guides hooting and hollering and taking our photos, all while trying to hang on while riding bareback.
Does it get any better than this?
