Ballad of Annie Palmer at Rose Hall, Jamaica

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, the visit the Rose Hall Great House in Jamaica was quite neat. Below is a video I took while one of the guides sings a song at the grave of Annie Palmer (the one who killed all three of her husbands in the great house).

Johnny Cash was actually a part time resident of Jamaica and lived in Cinnamon Hill, right beside Rose Hall Great House. He wrote a song called, “Ballad of Annie Palmer,” which is performed in the video. Enjoy!

Johnny Cash was one of the greatest performers of all time, and the world is a little darker without him. His music brought hope to to lots of people around the blog. RIP Johnny Cash!
