Direct Flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica

Lucky for us Vancouverites, there is a new direct flight launching between Vancouver and Montego Bay, Jamaica. Even luckier for me, I will be going in early December to check out the island and will report back with my experiences.

This is my first trip to Jamaica, at a time when the weather will be pretty rainy and cold in Vancouver. I can’t wait to pack my bathing suit and soak up some sun! Preliminary plans are resort hopping, horseback riding, snorkelling, spa-ing and some cultural dancing.

What I know so far:
- The flight is being launched by Air Canada
- It begins on December 19, 2008
- (I will find out the flying time)

Weather: highs of 31°, lows of 22°. Don’t hate me, it’s not the Jamaican way!

UPDATE:
- Flight leaves Vancouver every Friday at 7:30 a.m. and arrives at 5:15 p.m. in Montego Bay (3 hour time difference)
- Dec. 19 to April 17 (Seasonal)
- Boeing 763 with 25 executive class seats and 188 in coach
