I’ve mentioned a few times that all of us on the cruise learned two songs in Inuktitut, taught by culturalist Aaju Peter. I caught one of our “performances” on video in Pond Inlet, headed by Aaju and fantastic Canadian musician Barney Bentall. The Inuit locals are on stage singing along as well!

I’ve been humming the song in my head ever since, bringing back all those fond memories.
