Saskatchewan Road Trip

In May, I went on an 8-day road trip through Saskatchewan. It was my first time in the province and I was on assignment for my Western Canada Travel column. The trip took me from Regina, Saskatoon and Moose Jaw, to the gorgeous Waskesiu Lake area up north.

I fell in love with the simplicity of the land and down to earth welcome of the people. Singing Dixie Chicks hits at the top of my lungs, I drove through the sandy roads of rural Saskatchewan with complete ease. As a BC gal (where the backdrop to Vancouver is snow capped mountains and glistening water), I found a deep appreciation for the prairies…

So much so, that the Canadian publication, Take Off Eh! published my tale about exploring the southwest part of the province. You can read the article on their website.
