The gals from Blossom Winery at the Bill Reid Gallery in Vancouver, BC
Last night I headed to the wonderful Bill Reid Art Gallery in Vancouver. The PR agency Spectacular Ink hosted an evening for media and industry to become enamoured with their clients.
Their events always seem to be well attended and this was no different. I mixed and mingled while grazing on the delectable canapés from Terra Nova.
My favourite table was Blossom Winery in Richmond. I’m not usually a fan of ice wine, but their Blueberry Wine was outstanding. Their new Lulu Island Winery will open in May 2009.
I was also impressed with the soon-to-be-open Spa Scandinave in Whistler. It’s a Nordic wellness concept on 20,000 square feet of facilities over three km. The outdoor concept will have 14 massage rooms and therapeutic baths. Guess where I’ll be when it opens?
These events remind me: for all the travelling I do to other regions and overseas, British Columbia is still one of the most stunning and exciting places to be.
