I was delighted when local broadcaster and writer Kuljeet Kaila contacted me to be featured in her column, “View Asks You!” in Vancouver View Magazine.
She asked a handful of professionals around the city the question, “How have you managed travel and work in your career?”
Since I travel for a living, I had a few things to say about that. If you click on the image to the left, it will open up on a larger scale and you can read my response (you’ll have to zoom in a bit to read the text).

Hi Lori,
I hope this finds you well, and excited about 2010! I know I am
I have a question for you about vacation package deals: what online hotel/air booking Web sites do you recommend? I’ve been trying a few of them, but they don’t seem to be all that inexpensive. I’m trying to go to Maui for 2 weeks!
Thanks,
Laurie
Hey Laurie! Yes, 2010 is going to be a very exciting year
As for vacation package deals: well, I’ve never gone that route. I always book flights directly with airlines on seat sales and hotels on specials or packages. I guess I’m all about booking direct and not going through third parties. I know that’s no help, sorry! Maui- yes, sounds good!
