What better way to celebrate women of all sizes than by celebrating them at a burlesque-style lingerie fashion show with proceeds going to a worthy cause?
Beauties and Bras Charity Lingerie Fashion Show at Caprice Nightclub in Vancouver, BC
For those in Vancouver on January 29, 2010, come out to the Caprice Nightclub from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm (show starts at 8:00 pm) to see some gorgeous lingerie and support my non-profit organization, Shelley’s Angels Society.
My favourite broadcaster, Kuljeet Kaila, will be getting the crowd warmed up before the music starts and the models and non-models devour the catwalk.
We’re bringing in models of a variety of sizes to strut the runway in handmade burlesque-style lingerie made by local couturiere Shea O’Connor. We’re not talking La Senza here.
Each piece is stitched by hand, the colours are died by hand and the designs are limited edition. (And they’ll be on sale until 9:00 pm at the fashion show- trust me, you’ll be inspired to get yourself or your girlfriend a sexy little number…)
We’re hoping to sell 500 tickets, so I hope to see everyone who lives in or is travelling through Vancouver out.
